about jared

Jared began his strength and conditioning career in 2013 after graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in Exercise Science. He holds a Certified Personal Training certificate from the American College of Sports Medicine, along with a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach certificate from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Jared is also a career firefighter and resides in Springfield, IL with his wife, Sami, and their 4 children, Wes, Ty, Logyn, and newest addition, Louie.

WSS was formed in the Fall of 2016. We are aiming to provide a high level of programming, sport-specific training, and injury prevention techniques to athletes of all kinds. We have no cookie-cutter program. Each athlete is treated differently based off their individual needs to succeed. It is our goal to tap into each athlete's full potential, taking their performance in their respective sport to the highest level.
